I am a J.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota Law School. In addition to my studies, I am a Legal Project Assistant for Prof. Francesco Parisi, and I do research and write papers, essays, and articles for publication or presentation. I graduated from the University of Miami in 2025 with a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics.
Some broad interests of mine are philosophy, law, economics, theology, and their intersections. As you can probably see from this list, I am fascinated by both the basis of existence and the roles of human beings within the world. Interpersonal cooperation, social ontology, and any area of philosophical anthropology have lead me to engage in the research that I currently do. I love engaging with the work of others to find good insights in all areas of study in order to synthesize these insights into a holistic view of the world.
My path to philosophy was like a rabbit hole. As a high school student, I was extremely interested in criminal justice reform because of the opportunity I had to see the inner workings of the justice system in the lives of people close to me. For much of high school, I researched these reform policies and became very engaged in the local criminal justice reform movement. Understanding criminal justice issues required a strong grasp of subjects like law, economics, and sociology, leading me to read literature in those fields. These areas could only lead me back so far, however, and I was pushed to look into ethics and epistemology to understand what policies were just and how we could know which methods are best for analyzing policy. As I traveled further down the rabbit hole, I realized that I not only have a deep concern for criminal justice reform, but that I have a deep affinity for any topics regarding the basis of reality and the social world. Since this realization, I have attempted to tie in everything that I have learned in each of these fields to the work that I do now.
I am a Catholic, which has interested me in certain areas in the history of philosophy and theology.
I am an avid baseball fan—more specifically, I love the Chicago Cubs—which is reflected in some of my popular media articles. I enjoy watching or playing most other sports as well, such as football, basketball, golf, etc., especially with family or friends.
